Outreach

I love serving the community as a veterinary student and look forward to continuing to do so as a veterinarian.  Below are some of my favorite community service opportunities.

Volunteering at Cornell's healthy pet clinic for low-income families in the Ithaca community was definitely one of the most fulfilling opportunities during my time in veterinary school.  Helping these people by providing preventive veterinary care to their pets was very satisfying.

Highlights from the 2015 Open House

Sharing my passion for veterinary medicine with guests of all ages during our annual Open House is so much fun!  During my first year, I brought my Miniature Poodle, Willy, to participate in the Small Animal Physical Exam room.  We shared with people the importance of bringing their pet to the veterinarian.  Willy loved the attention, and I loved helping children listen to his heart beat using my stethoscope!  After that, I tried my hand at face painting.  The kids and parents were thrilled when I made them look like a tiger!
